One Camera Family - Two Interfaces: Mako
Small and Rugged
The Mako is a 29x29mm ultra-compact mainstream machine vision camera with an excellent price/performance ratio. It includes the latest fast and sensitive sensors, a high-quality robust housing, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Optocoupled I/Os (1 in, 3 out) ensure an easy integration.
Seven Models with GigE Vision Interface
Seven Mako models with GigE Vision interface and resolutions from VGA to 4 megapixels will be available in the first quarter of 2013. Models will feature CCD and CMOS sensors with Global Shutter, as well as CMOS sensors with increased near-infrared sensitivity. Mako delivers up to 300 images per second at full VGA resolution (0.3 megapixels).
USB3 Vision and CMOS Sensors
The Mako will also be available later in 2013 with a USB3 Vision interface, a new machine vision standard defined by the Automated Vision Association (AIA). Five USB3 models will be released including the highly anticipated VGA, 2 and 4 megapixel models featuring CMOS sensors from CMOSIS (CMV2000 and CMV4000) and their corresponding NIR-sensitive variations.
